LHotel Montreal

You will notice beat this charming eclectic artsy spot for value, location and fun. Excellent staff that is very attentive. Nice continental breakfast included and in the heart of where you want to be. While the property is a classic within lovely architectural gems it could use a little TLC. Perhaps removing the spider weds from the iconic LOVE sculpture outside would be a worthy touch. Still not enough to drop a star in the special hotel! Enjoy...

This hotel is in a fantastic location in Montreal, everything right there. The hotel itself is a little different, not the crisp new build that sometimes we come to expect. The premises are clean and cozy. The clientele is very good, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed. As we sat in the lobby area enjoying breakfast croissants/orange juice/coffee, there was a positive hum of activity from other guests. Most importantly, the staff at LHotel are young, professional, and willing to help. I have never experienced the complete effort this group exhibits at ever turn. Their welcoming approach to guests is refreshing. I would definitely stay at this hotel when returning to Montreal.

The location of this hotel is perfect. Great walking distance to many things. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms however were very run down. The beds were extremely saggy and uncomfortable and carpet was stained and torn. Bathroom was old and in need of major repair. We were charged way above the regular rate for the summer weekend. This hotel is not worth the very high nightly weekend rate.
