It was a very nice hotel. The service was top notch, and I asked Mr. Thanh at the counter for a recommended restaurant and went there to eat. It was a very delicious restaurant. Ben Thanh Market is also nearby, so this hotel is recommended for those who want to do sightseeing in Ho Chi Minh City.
Spent in hotel 2weeks. If you stay for 3-4days for holiday you will be OK, but for longer business stay is not best fit, but it is based on your preference. Positives: Great location nearby almost all highlights in District 1 Very polite and professional staff Clean room, well maintain, just carefully take room size Service on high level Very good breakfast offer Improvement points: Based on room selection can be a little noise from street, higher floor better Not very stable wi-fi In my room position of light does not make sense and missing "master" light so pretty dark, especially if you have to work after dark Gym is very small, fully packed with machines, and not comfortable if more than 3 people in. Air condition is weak in gym Overall stay was OK and if you just visit HCM for couple of days, do not need gym and work I can highly recommend it.
When my friend and I booked a room through Booking.com, I used my name for the reservation to match the credit card used for payment. My friend was arriving first, so I called the hotel ahead of time to ask if my friend could check in without me. The hotel staff said that it wouldn't be a problem and all they would need was the booking number. However, when my friend tried to check in, the hotel staff couldn't find the reservation. I called the hotel again and asked them to double-check. After about 10 minutes on the phone, a guy got on the line. In a very rude and disrespectful tone, he immediately told me, "Next time put two guests' names in the booking." There was no apology for the trouble. I reminded him that I had called ahead and was told that having only my name on the reservation would be fine. He simply replied, "Okay," still offering no apology for the mix-up or his rudeness.
