Lido by Phoenicia

I stayed at this hotel for just one night, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff went out of their way to accommodate all of my requests, making me feel truly welcome. A special thank you to Valentin at the reception, he was outstanding: friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. The rest of the team was just as impressive, providing warm and attentive service throughout my stay. I'm already booked to return in two weeks and plan to keep coming back in the future. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, great service.

I had a really nice 5-day stay at the visually very pleasing Lido Hotel. The location is great to explore the city. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was perfectly clean, reasonably sized, well-decorated and offered a lot of storage and air conditioning. If you're a light sleeper better bring some earplugs as the walls are a bit thin. Breakfast was very nice and offered a good variety of food. Only negative point I have (and the reason why I can only give 4 out of 5 stars) is that the room isn't equipped with blackout curtains, which I expect from a 4* hotel. Sun rises at 6am or earlier during summer months and you have no chance of darkening your room because the curtains are not thick enough. But still, the Lido is a great hotel and I definitely recommend it, I enjoyed my stay.

🪲 I found during check-in some kind of bug in the bed, and went directly out of the room. It could be bed bugs or another bug. Not sure, they were stil small, but it was a bug. Front desk didn’t act, they just refused the fact. ”We didn’t see any when we checked the room”. I got it on photo. This is the kind of issue where the reaction from front desk and how they handle it says a lot about the hotel. They didn’t want to help me, didn’t apologize. Thanks to Expedia who let me cancel the booking and I move to a new place across the street. They have a very friendly bell boy.
