Lido Palace

Absolute prime location at the top of Garda. The hotel is 125 years old, but lovely and modern inside. We had a lake view room and it was well appointed, had a little balcony and a very comfy bed. We used the Spa and pools daily and they were clean, serviced regularly and because of the small number of rooms in the hotel, virtually exclusive. The breakfast was amazing each day and we always received a good service whilst looking over the lake and mountainside. The grounds were well kept and secure and a literal stones through from the lake. The main town was minutes away too, but far enough that it had no impact. The only negative really was the bar service. It wasn't particularly fast and also unduly expensive. €40 for a G&T and Vodka and Soda. I had an amazing seven-day stay at the Lido Palace with my wife. Our room was stunning, and every staff member we interacted with was polite, helpful, and friendly. Special thanks to Claudia who helped us a lot during our stay with bookings and suggestions on what places we should visit. Breakfast was included and was lovely. We also enjoyed a few snacks from the bar, which were delicious. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the beautiful sights of Riva Del Garda. Plus, it's just a 30-minute car journey from Rovereto train station, making it easy to discover more of Italy. You are also 10 minute walk away from the boats taking you to the other towns on Lake Garda.

Beautiful hotel, the room at the top was beautiful with gorgeous panoramic views. The lake is right in front of the hotel and easy access to nearby shops. Loved the stay, the staff was extremely friendly. Although air conditioning was advertised, due to the season / law it wasn’t turned on however they promptly delivered a standing fan when requested. 5 stars.
