Life Hotel

What a gem of a hotel and location. We loved it enough that we tried to switch some of our other reservations to get back to it during our journey, but we’re not able to do so. The location was excellent right there on the beach and we loved the balcony and the separate living area and the bedroom. We would definitely stay again. The sound of the waves crashing on the beach was an added bonus.

Excellent location, hotel, staff, and service! We booked a more expensive room for a veranda with a view of the Adriatic. Easy access to board walk, town and restaurants.

Our family room/disabled room was located on the bottom floor. I thought we would have some sort of sea view, but in any case, the room was terrible. Faded out windows, dark and claustrophobic. We couldn’t open windows as it opened onto the cafe seating area, where other guests had direct view into the room. We had problem with air conditioning twice and there was no manual to help rectify it, other than consult reception and we were told to not open windows as it will turn off the AC. The furniture was to a low standard and the room generally needs some care. We were not impressed by one particular member at reception. I stood there for some time waiting until she finished typing. She looked at me and continued typing. I then had to ask her if she could assist me. She had a very unpleasant manner and while she was dealing with me she then dealt with another guest! The nicest people were the breakfast staff and bar staff who were very helpful. I don’t believe the rate that we paid overall was worth the room and experience. It was unfortunate as we were so looking forward to staying.
