We stayed one night on a Midi-Pyrenees bike tour. I would like to echo with many others have stated. Cool town, cool accommodation and the best hosts imaginable. Rooms were large with comfortable beds in historic building. Leran is steeped in history and very interesting to walk around. John and Leanne were the consummate hosts. Secure bike storage and the clean pool cannot be beat on a sunny and warm afternoon after our day of riding. Fantastic dinner 20 m away at Le Rendezvous-Vous. Perfect petit-dejeuner the next morning sustained us to our next accommodation with no need for lunch. Five stars all the way around.
We only stayed the one night on our journey from France to Spain but would happily have stayed longer. Both John and Leanne were incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgable of the area. They upgraded our room just because it was available. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool but it looked amazing. And they showed great patience with our sassy 4yo and even gifted her some beach toys for our holiday. Highly recommend.
Wonderful accomodation and food. The real French experience. The bedrooms are a delight and refreshingly had no TV in the room. Mobiles are not welcome at breakfast or in the dining room which is fair enough. Music Festival held in Lèran around the 20th June each year. This would be an amazing base. Free parking but no lift. John and Lees Anne (the owners) are attentive and helpful.
