2025.05.07: been here for a three-day work event. Received really good service. The hotel has spacious areas for workshops and presentations. Also a gym which operates 24/7. Air inside though was a little bit too warm and heavy, would need fresh air inflow more frequently probably. Some dishes were a bit too salty for me personally, but overall good food.
Let’s start with the positives. The place was overall good. The reception, the gym and the breakfast were good. Also the sky bar is pretty nice:) Now what was a bit meh is that the room was very old, it looked like an old apartment. But it was clean, the bed and parts of the wall were falling apart. Also when I came a bit early they refused to give me a room.. even though it was because I had one flight coming in the morning..
The location of the hotel is quite convenient, close to the city center, which we appreciated. However, the rest of our stay had several disappointing aspects. The room quality was poor. We did not receive any slippers, and despite calling the reception multiple times, no one ever answered. One of our rooms had a terrible smell coming from the bathroom. Airing it out didn’t help. We reported the issue several times, and while staff promised to fix it, nothing was done. In the end, we only received a 15% discount on our meal as compensation, which felt inadequate given the inconvenience. To make matters worse, one of the main reasons we chose this hotel was for the sky lounge. However, it was closed during our stay due to a private event. We understand that events can happen, but closing off a key facility without offering alternatives or notifying guests in advance does not feel guest-friendly — especially for visitors who specifically came for that experience. The one positive point was the room cleaning, which was done well. Unfortunately, our experience at the restaurant was also below expectations. We were served frozen bread rolls, and when we politely pointed this out to the staff — just as feedback for future guests — we were met with an attitude. The staff member told us, “You shouldn't have eaten it; I would’ve given you a new one,” which we found rude and unprofessional. In reality, we didn’t have time to wait for a new serving anyway. In summary, while the hotel has potential due to its location and clean rooms, our experience with the service, communication, and facilities was disappointing. Improvements are definitely needed.
