Linsdale

We visited for my grandmother's birthday this evening and my family had a wonderful time. We were looked after by the lovely and accommodating Mitchel, who helped with cushions for my grandmother's chair to make sure that she was comfortable, whilst also managing to manoeuvre around my overstimulated 3 year old. The food was great, my grandfather enjoyed his seafood. Steaks were exactly as we ordered and Mitchel was across the allergens when I had a couple of questions. I hadn't been here in about 15 years, but the new fit out is definitely clean and modern compared to how i remember it. Thanks again, we will very likely return.

Was a last minute walk in dinner in the Lonsdale bistro with a couple of friends on a Sunday night. Food was excellent, decent wine available, service was welcoming with friendly staff. Meals arrived reasonably quickly. I had a chicken schnitzel with Diane sauce, mash and veg. Best schnitzel I've had in a while, golden, moist and a reasonable size. Vegetables were done to perfection with a slight crunch to them. Friends had a stuffed chicken which was also really nice.

Thought we would give it another go as it used to be out favourite but never again , garlic bread dry and no taste of garlic , creamy garlic sauce the same and just tasted like flour , schnitzel was very oily , chips and gravy were the best things on the plate. Staff were great tho :)
