A wonderful boutique 19 room hotel in the centre of Lisbon. Even better if you are into wine - bottle in your room, tastings every afternoon (for a fee), great selection, leftover wine at breakfast but equally great if you are not into wine. Be aware it is in the pedestrian zone so a taxi can drop you close but not there. They have a pleasant guest's garden. Comfortable rooms, limited storage in the bathroom but a good room footprint in a heritage building. Rear rooms are VERY quiet, and rooms are serviced well. Blackout curtains. Fridge and coffee machine in the room. Their tea isn't the best so if you like a cuppa BYO tea bags and a travel kettle! We felt this hotel has high standards and while there, they had a fire drill and they explained they have a dedicated smoke extraction system to protect guests. I'd say strictly 2 people max in a room for the space. We experienced people from Spain, Canada, USA, in the hotel. Cooked and buffet breakfasts available. It is walkable to many of the central services and close to a metro station. It's on an 'eat street' close to the theatre so you get hassled by every vendor walking up and down. If you have some ability issues be aware it is cobbled streets and you can't have car drop off outside, yet once there (200m) wheelchair access and an elevator accommodate such needs.
Amazing little boutique hotel! We absolutely loved our stay at Lisbon Wine Hotel. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the staff is so friendly and helpful, and the location is fantastic on a cute pedestrian street full of great shops and restaurants. Could not recommend highly enough!
A modern twist in an vintage shell. Room was comfortable. Loved enjoying a glass of wine on the cobblestones out front. Drawback was having to park a few blocks away, but we knew this upon booking. Courtyard is quaint but not all to private when facing it and having your window open. Still, I recommend this place as it is centrally located and walking distance to shops, restaurants and the theatre.
