Liscia Country Relais

This Country Retreat was stunningly beautiful. The resort is out of the way and isolated; this is exactly what me and my finacé were looking for. No noise, no one bothering you and no screaming kids :-) it has the atmosphere of a Yoga hotel. We rented a hire car which is a must if you want to access this Hotel but you would want one to see the amazing views and attractions of Sardinia. It was really easy to find and a beautiful drive. The resort seems to float along with relaxation, bliss and quietness is embedded within the ethos of Hotel Liscia Country Relais. The staff were all really friendly, attentive and polite, you are not hassled and left to relax. We ate here twice on an evening and the food was good; I did find it a little expensive but given the location and views it balanced out. Rough prices were about €12 euros for a main meal and €20 for a bottle of Sardinian wine. Breakfast was really good, fresh meats, cheeses, fruits, juice and breads. You can ask for a fresh cappuccino or an espresso. There is Americano coffee available but it was a little cold when left out. Our room was really nice, airy, and cool. The air conditioning was very welcome as it was about 29 degress when we visited. The room was clean and was turned down on a daily basis. The mini bar fridge was also great and allowed us to keep our drinks and snacks cool You can walk down to the lake which looks out to the Dam. I did see a sign for no swimming so probably a good idea to heed this advice :-) I imagine it's great for a spot of fishing. We opted to use the swimming pools which have lots of sunbeds, umbrellas for shade and have amazing views of the lake, hills and Sardinian countryside. I do not have anything negative to say about this Hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and me and my finacé have even decided to go back for our Mini Honeymoon in May 2019. Thank you to Hotel Liscia. We stopped there for lunch just because we were in the area and followed the signs seen by the road near the multi millenial olive tree site. Warm welcome from the friendly hosts who were happy to share the so special things they have like another millenary olive tree and also the nurhage site. Simply a good time that we enjoyed there, and the lunch made from simple cuisine was very good. Don't hesitate, follow the little rough path to the property, it's worth it!

Gorgeous estate property with amazing lake views. The staff was nice, the rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was very good. The only downside is the property is located very far away from the city and/or beaches so you need to drive at least an hour to the nearest beach. Great stay for relaxation and rest.
