Goodness Gracious Me, how do I begin to let you know about this place. It is a sheer delight to stay at this B&B. It is extremely clean, tidy and delicately decorated. As you walk up to the door and watch it slowly open, your heart just wonders what it's like. You are greeted by a warm, friendly lady with a huge smile. "Welcome to Little Gables" she says and directs us in to the entrance. You instantly feel at home. After a brief moment of chatter and information given; we were shown to our room where we will stay for two nights. Our room was on the next level the only way you get there is by walking few simple stairs. Our room had a shower and a surprise wc. That I will leave up to the Manager to explain. Intrigued!!! well you just have to go and stay to find there what the fascination is. The room was small and had two single beds there but we were delighted. It felt comfortable and we were just happy to have a nice place to stay. About the area: It is situated near a roundabout, and surprisingly you don't hear the traffic. You can easily walk up to the towns centre and choose any pub to go to for meals. We just loved the whole area. Little Gables Managers are so so friendly, the meals were delicious. They provide Breakfast and also Evening Meal if you choose to eat there. I can assure you that the warm and friendly face you saw when you first came is not only a nice lady but a great cook....Love Love this place. TIP: Regarding Stairs - Leave your luggage in the car and just take what you need for the duration of your stay.
Absolutely fabulous. A perfect place to stay and the host and hostess were just the same and deserve 10 stars not 5. Beautiful decor and everything one would need for a stay. We will be back. Regards David and Nai from Thailand
I just came here during my bussiness trip and I have to say It's really bautifull small hotel with very good standard. There is nothing to complain. Maybe poor taxi services but that's not the issue of hotel so if you are comming from cholsey train station book taxi in advance.
