Little Guest House Hotel

Right from the beginning our hosts were amazing, considering, and so welcoming. They were very helpful and even when there were problems with the washing machine they still helped make it possible for me to do two loads of laundry. Our room was large and spacious, very comfortable, with a lovely bathroom as well. Our guesthouse was within walking distance from the old town and we had a wonderful stay. I would love to return. One thing I will add is, it isn't that we didn't like it, but it was just different, that at 4:30am you can hear the local mosque's call to prayer. If you are a heavy sleeper you won't notice, but my partner did. It isn't long and he was able to roll back over to go back to sleep. So, consider it a unique cultural experience.

We feel very lucky that we came during low season and were able to find a room at Little guesthouse. We walked up there and it immediately felt good. The rooms are nice and have a good atmosphere. Little was very helpful as well. He recommended a barber and a coffee place, both very good! Also, we mentioned being vegetarian and he wrote us a note with “we are vegetarian” in Thai. It helped us a lot in the weeks after. Recommended!

I had an excellent stay at the Little Guest House. The price was so good for the quality of the room that you will get. The couple that runs the guesthouse is very friendly and they actually speak good English. They were kind enough to check me in even though I arrived so late at 1 AM. They provide you with shampoo, body wash, toothbrush and paste, shower cap and a bottle of water and a coffee. Towels are also provided. They clean the room every 2nd day. The location is also good as its near the northern side of the walled area and a night market is very close by. I highly recommend staying at Little Guest House if you are looking for very good value and very good service.
