Littlesquare Arona

a charming place! the rooms are beautifully decorated , large and have all the amenities needed and much more. they really think about all the small details. the communication was excellent and they helped us with everything needed very fast. the breakfast was great- seems simple at first but then we discovered all the options and it was delicious. parking is paid street parking very close. the location is great: 5 min walk to old town and 1 min walk to the lake. Highly recommended!

Great location and a beautiful room. The hosts are easy to reach and respond quickly to all your needs. We enjoyed stay with these friendly people and can definitely recommend Little Square Arona!

I've never stayed at the property. The manager gave me the access codes at the last minute (literally, when I wrote that I was just a few minutes from the property, despite having been told in the morning that they would provide me with the information as soon as possible). It was after 7 PM when I checked in, and the room was dirty from previous guests (I've attached a photo). I contacted the manager and they told me that the cleaning lady had a setback and would be there in an hour and a half. After a long trip and the need for a shower, dinner, and some relaxation, this was completely unacceptable. Oh, and the Wi-Fi doesn't work even though the noticeboard says "two Wi-Fi locations" are available. I asked to cancel without penalty, and the manager said that was fine, apologizing. But then days went by and the refund for the room I didn't use never arrived. I had to follow up several times before the manager told me the refund had been approved. I called Booking.com customer support and they told me the manager lied and that the refund was never approved. Despite everything, the dispute with Booking.com and my credit card is still pending. I can't believe what happened; I had to book another room at the last minute at a much higher price. A terrible experience and highly discouraged.
