First of all, Gerakas and its surroundings is definitely the most beautiful place on the island, quiet, without large hotel complexes and crowds of people. That reason is the National Marine Park of Zakynthos, for which further construction is limited. If you are looking for a peaceful vacation in beautiful nature (and you like turtles :-)), Liuba houses is the ideal accommodation. I especially appreciate the wonderful attitude of the owner and his family at Liuba Houses, definitely listen to what he tells you and recommends and you are guaranteed to have such wonderful experiences as we had!
We are a family of four, we lived in the Green House. We've been going on vacations for many years, and this is the first place we want to return to. I lack words to describe the warmth of the hosts. The cottage had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well-equipped and functional. It was very clean, and additionally, every day when we went out, the cottage was cleaned. We were there in the last week of April, and the whole (heated) pool was for us. There were very clean and comfortable mattresses on the sun loungers by the pool. The surroundings of the cottages were simply magical - green and colorful with flowers. It was very hard for us to leave; personally, I felt like I was saying goodbye to family. I went here with my parents and my brother for a vacation. In short, I could say that I was completely satisfied with everything. We stayed in the Green House. The pool was heated and very nice. There were lots of beaches around, the nicest ones we went to were Gerakas (500mtrs away) and Banana Beach (5mins by car). Only 20 minutes away from the airport. There is a rescue turtle mini museum with free entrance and a gift shop. You can also see turtles and fish in aquariums. There were also a lot of cats walking around which was really nice, one of them being my profile picture. They are all really nice and friendly. Amazing and thank you to Jorgos and Agata for being very friendly hosts!
