Live Aqua Punta Cana All Inclusive Adults Only

Me and my wife had a fantastic first time experience and it was our honeymoon. Our concierge Rafael and our butler David were wonderful. Rafael and David were there for us when ever we needed them and there with great information and ideas of things for us to do. Staff service was great, every member of their staff were nice and friendly and helpful. We plan on visiting again as soon as we can and also bringing our family on a trip as well.

This is a very good quality hotel, that has large comfortable and well appointed rooms, ours having huge beds, a good double shower and a jacuzzi on a large balcony. The dining facilities are particularly good with themed restaurants, that are used for evening meals. The main breakfast room is a good size with spaced apart tables and an excellent range of cooked items, made to order omelettes, fruit dishes, continental breakfasts and pastries. The choice of fruit juices was great. The grounds are beautifully kept with a small army of conscientious gardeners. A number of pools are accessible and weren't overly crowded when we visited late June/early July. The staff are without doubt the hotel's biggest asset. Attentive, friendly, polite and clearly keen to please. In particular we would like to thank Jhoan, at the pool area, who looked after us with efficiency and a smile. If we had a criticism, it was the somewhat selfish attitude of a number of guests who thought it alright to ignore the very visible pool rules, shout in corridors when other people were trying to sleep and not offer common courtesy to the hotel staff. It seems being on holiday means not having to say please and thank you to waiters and waitresses! If you are happy to stay in the resort, this is a good holiday destination. We like to explore a bit usually and I'm not sure The Dominican Republic had enough for us. But for others, I'm sure Punta Cana is great.

The resort is beautiful and well-maintained, with great pools and good dining options. However, guests should be aware that aggressive timeshare sales are embedded into the check-in process and guest experience. We were approached immediately after check-in, asked about our breakfast time, and then found ourselves in the middle of a sales pitch during our meal the next morning. While some staff were lovely, the sales team was persistent and made us uncomfortable when we declined. For travelers seeking a relaxing and private stay, this aspect of the property may be disappointing, especially since it’s not mentioned in the property listing.
