Absolutely loved staying here. The staff is amazing from valet, concierge, front desk and security. Everyone is so nice and eager to help. Rooms were very clean, the beds and linens were amazing. The best location for events at the stadiums, they both exit right to the fountain at the hotel. My only complaint is it is definitely a bar paradise, I wish there were more restaurants that you didn’t have to go through the crowds to get to and the website was kinda misleading on that. All the bar/restaurants are in one big building with live music in the middle, which is cool for a night out but when you just wanna go grab some food real quick is not the move. Also the hours don’t mention that most stop serving food at 10, not when they close.
We stayed for the weekend and had a blast! Anything we could need/want was right there. We really enjoyed the pool in the evening with drinks and food. The bartender, Roberto, was incredibly nice and attentive. He didn’t make us feel like he was just doing a job, he made us feel like part of the family. We couldn’t have asked for more from our first visit there and will be coming back. The hotel was spotless and clean and you can tell all the details had been thought through. Thank you for making this weekend so memorable Live! by Loews and thank you Roberto for making the experience that much better.
Disappointing Experience at Live By Loews – Falls Short of Expectations Live By Loews fails to deliver on the basics, leaving guests with a frustrating and underwhelming stay. The Rooms: Subpar and Neglected The rooms are cramped, with uncomfortable beds draped in stained linens that raise questions about the hotel’s attention to cleanliness. The bathroom is even worse – no latching door for privacy, and a lack of fans or ventilation makes the space feel stuffy and unpleasant. Basic comfort should be standard, but it’s sorely lacking here. Restaurant: Mediocre with Forced Gratuity The hotel’s dining options, particularly the steakhouse, aim to mimic high-end chains like Ruth’s Chris but feel like a pale imitation. The steaks were decent but nothing memorable. A mandatory 20% gratuity is applied across all hotel restaurants, which seems to dampen the staff’s incentive to provide standout service. It feels more like a cash grab than a reward for effort. Amenities: Pools Shine, But Service Lags The pools are the highlight of the property – well-maintained and staffed with attentive lifeguards, offering a pleasant escape. However, bar service by the pool is inconsistent, and the forced 20% gratuity makes every drink order feel transactional rather than enjoyable. Valet Service: A Rare Highlight The valet service is a standout, offering prompt, professional, and hassle-free assistance. It’s the one area where the hotel consistently delivers. Final Thoughts Live By Loews tries to impress but falls flat with small, uncomfortable rooms, lackluster dining hampered by forced gratuities, and spotty service. The pools and valet are bright spots, but they’re not enough to salvage the experience. Look elsewhere for a stay that feels worth your time and money
