Liverpool At The Strand 1

Good hotel, well positioned for the dock and Liverpool one. Compact rooms, but comfortable. No air conditioning, so in the hot summer evenings the rooms are hot. You are given an electric fan, but if you want the window open, you will suffer from four lanes of fast traffic, oh and the continuous screeching of sirens from the emergency services.

Always a pleasant stay here at the strand, I've no idea why Google has called it Central cause that's a miles up the road. Anyway just like any other TL you'll get a comfy bed, an suite shower and if you ask for a front facing room a fantastic view of the Albert Dock. It's ideally situated if you want to shop at Liverpool One, which is just around the corner, or to the many bars and clubs like the Cavern, also just a five minute walk away. Breakfast depends on who's in the kitchen unfortunately as sometimes the sausages can be a bit over done, the scrambled eggs can be the same way and the bacon can be like leather, it's pot luck really but after a night out I'm starving in the morning so I'll generally eat anything you put in front of me, to an extent. No air con at this site so if it's a warm night the room can be a tad stuffy.. 8/10..

As basic as it gets. Clean shower, tidy room, TV that worked! Was meant to have a king size bed?! Not as advertised. Food - if able to eat out, we would recommend that instead. No air con. Can't beat the location though!
