Living Hotel Frankfurt

I felt at home during a critical time involving dental surgery and being from another country: I could rest, prep my own food, felt safe in neighborhood and on premises; appreciated generous bus service and taxi on site. Friendly staff!

We stayed for nine days and enjoyed everything. The location, the apartment, the supermarket and bakery/cafe downstairs, WeWash and parking in the building with electric charging stations. Staff were friendly, the apartment is nicely designed and furnished. Overall, a wonderful experience.

I arrived quite late to the hotel due to a delay in DB. The self check in process did not work, and the staff on site was also unable to check me in, so it took me about 30 minutes from arriving to actually getting my room key. I didn't get to my room until 1 AM. The next morning I was woekn up by a call from the front desk at 6:30 AM because they couldn't find my payment on file. I asked for another 30 minutes to get ready wash up, but I was called again at 6:45 to come down to the lobby to verify my payment. It wasn't until I showed my bank statement with the payment that my check-in was verified. I received no apology from the front desk for the error simply told that the "system was broken". Based on several other reviews online, it seems like the check in procress is an ongoing problem for this hotel. The room was actually quite good, and the value is also fine. If you choose to stay here, I would recommend calling in advance to make certain that they have your payment information on file.
