The hotel is well maintained and the rooms are spacious. Each room has a balcony. The spread of breakfast was good but the Indian variety was very less and not that great in taste. It was just okay. There is a large swimming pool and large out place. They give extra towels when you are going out for boating or swimming. Overall a good place.

I booked LK Celestial for 2 nights for myself and my friends. As a travel agent and having stayed in 5 different hotels in the last 3 weeks, I have to say this is the absolute worst place of the 2 countries 4 cities we’ve visited. On the outside the hotel and lobby looks very grand and regal but I should have known better once I saw the empty dated lobby furniture, the condition of the front lobby desk Although the desk personnel were really nice, I wanted to check out before I went to the room. I think my friends & myself were the only occupants on the entire floor which looked like a scene from the Shining. Now the room… I have stayed in dated rooms but….. I was over powered by the musky smell and had to spray perfume. The room “looked” clean the furniture surfaces were clean but the walls, doors, ceilings, shower door & fixtures haven’t seen a clear day in awhile. I looked at the vent and noticed not only a hole in the calling but black stuff(smears) around the vent. The pictures online have to be from 30 years ago! After contemplating if I wanted to risk discovering bed bugs, after seeing a few small flat bugs on the walls, I sat in my room an hour before I went to inform the front desk and 1 of the 2 staff was literally sleeping with his head thrown back! I think formed the awake staff of my concerns and she did offer change rooms. I had to leave for the evening but will be staying somewhere else tomorrow. This is may have been a 4+ star hotel in its hay day but no longer. This is a 2 star at most and I say that only due to the help generously…
