Friendly reception and lovely continental breakfast. Yes there is a big port to the left side and it can be noisy and there is a night club but when the windows and doors were closed the noise was fine, had no trouble sleeping and we were right above it. There was construction around the hotel taking place which didn’t seem very professional.. They also advertise a pool, gym and a spa however these were all closed. You also have to pay a minimum of €10 per person to go on the beach which is a bit of a scam. We got a good deal so we thought it was worth it. The surrounding area is also not very touristy at all which was nice too.
We had an incredibly disappointing experience at this property and unfortunately can’t recommend it to anyone—especially families or guests expecting a basic level of hospitality and comfort. From the moment we arrived, the reception we received was cold and dismissive. Despite having small children, we were assigned to a floor undergoing heavy renovation. Construction started as early as 6:00 AM, with loud drilling coming from both neighboring rooms. It was baffling that guests were even placed in that section of the hotel at all. The room itself left much to be desired. It was cramped, outdated, and the mattress was so worn out that I woke up with back pain every morning. Between that and the pounding bass from the nightclub that went late into the night, restful sleep was nearly impossible. Breakfast was another low point. Very minimal options, poor quality, and a far cry from the fresh, flavorful offerings one would expect in Italy. The coffee came from a machine and the pastries were stale—definitely not the start to the day we had hoped for. We tried to make the best of it for our kids' sake, but this hotel simply failed to meet even basic expectations. I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to share our experience so others can make a more informed choice. There are far better options nearby—do yourself a favor and choose one of them.
The hotel staff was incredibly rude. We are darker skin folks, and as soon as they saw us, they were rude and incredulous. it was very unfortunate. Treated us very poorly relative to our friends (who were the only reasons we came to this hotel). We had two young kids and they put us on the absolute worst floor, full of construction including the rooms that flanked ours. From 6AM forward, we had drilling from both sides. Was absurd that they even put people in that room, but then I remember how racist they were and this was a power trip opportunity for them. The room was incredibly out-dated, small and uncomfortable. The bed was very old and ended up hurting my back because of the poor quality. The club in this hotel was going all night and we could barely sleep as the rooms are FAR from sound proof. The breakfast shouldn't be called a breakfast...it was just terrible..one of the worst we've ever had. If you wan't machine coffee and stale everything...in Italy...then you're in luck. I can go on and on about how terrible this stay was, but I think I've said enough...if you still decide to stay here, well...I'm not sure what you are expecting, but between this review and many others, I urge you to find a different hotel. Edit: they replied saying that the work was the floor below…it was not. It was directly next door. Many shirtless Italian men working directly beside our room and we had young kids with us. Unacceptable that they’re now trying to cover this up. Another reason to avoid this place.
