A lovely hotel in a beautiful location with friendly and attentive staff. The facilities were fantastic, especially the sauna and spa area. The food and wine were great, and the bar with the pre-dinner snacks was a nice touch. Our room was spacious and had comfortable beds. A wonderful stay – I would definitely return!
This is an excellent hotel with caring, welcoming staff, delicious food and a relaxing atmosphere. Going away with our 6 month old baby for the first time was daunting, and we had a difficult trip with my son and I unwell for most of the week. I can't thank the staff enough for how they treated us the whole week. They accommodated us several nights with dinner to the room and serving my husband food at a later time. They helped with translating a phone call when our rental car broke down and you can tell this hotel values family with how they treated us and my son. 3We would 100% recommend this hotel. We stayed in a junior suite which had a great amount of room to fit the three of us. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, pillow choice and a hot, powerful shower with a beautiful view. We also loved how the housekeeping staff left the weather forecast and sweets on the bed every night. In all areas, there is a real attention to detail that really makes this hotel exceptional. The bar area is lovely and cosy. We found drink prices were very reasonable and a great selection in drinks. I especially liked the tea menu! Evening snacks were also a lovely touch. Food at the restaurant was delicious, 5 star - a great variety of starters, mains and deserts that our whole party enjoyed including 3 vegetarians. We also loved the salad bar, my 6 month son included! The lounge area next to the reception was also a lovely spot to sit and relax, especially when the fire was on. The decor is a lovely mix between modern and cosy. We also loved the playroom and the seating area next to it. I'd finally like to say a huge thank you to the staff at the hotel who together create such a welcoming atmosphere. I tried remembering and noting down names where I could so a big thank you to - the staff working in the restaurant especially Christos, Ramon, Mishel, Bogdan and manager Laura. to Azzura and all the other kitchen staff for your wonderful cooking. to Giacomo working at the bar to Francesca on the front desk and finally to Kristina in housekeeping Thank you and we hope to return in the near future
Some rooms on the first floor are extremely noisy, with disturbances coming from the kitchen between 6:00 am and 12:00 pm. Unfortunately, hotel management is fully aware of this issue but shows no interest in resolving it. When raised, the response was essentially: “It’s just bad luck.” Guests should be warned not to accept rooms on the first floor. The wellness facilities are in need of maintenance. For example, the door handle to the wellness area frequently falls off, and parts of the wooden floor in the sauna are damaged—posing a potential safety hazard. Mattresses and pillows are of poor quality and very uncomfortable, which affects the overall sleep experience. Food provided as part of the half-board option is mediocre, and the service lacks professionalism. Overall, the hotel is overpriced for what it offers and falls short of what one would expect from a four-star establishment. There are certainly better options available in this price range.
