Locanda agli Amici

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights this summer, and it was wonderful. The staff is very kind and helpful, and they did everything they could to make our stay perfect. Clean room, great breakfast and a beautiful view, both from the pool/outside area and from the room. The hotel is not too far away from the city, it’s a nice walk (we walked back and forth every day)! We had to leave before the breakfast buffet opened on our last day, so they arranged breakfast to go the night before. Great service! We highly recommend staying here, and would love to come back :)

Absolutely incredible stay! From the moment we arrived, Silvia made us feel like longtime friends returning home. Her warmth, attentiveness, and hospitality were truly spectacular in every way. The food was nothing short of amazing—every meal felt like a lovingly prepared feast. The rooms were beautifully appointed, with every need thoughtfully covered, making our stay effortlessly comfortable. We loved that we could easily walk into Cortona proper—such a charming town to explore. It’s also a perfect jumping-off point to visit other stunning Tuscan cities. This is more than just a hotel; it’s a heartfelt experience we’ll never forget. Highly recommended!

One of the best holidays we have ever had in Italy up to now. We had such a great experience at Locanda agli Amici. Silvia and her staff made every morning of our three week stay very memorable and enjoyable. Silva is a great hostess not only for her very pleasant ways but also for her welcoming disposition. Also a very knowledgeable person about Tuscany. No question will go unanswered. She is very helpful.
