Locanda Angelica

Amazing dinner. Restaurant is located in a very old farmhouse. Family run business. Delicious food, quickly served. We will be coming back ! Booking highly recommend on a Saturday night

My partner and I are just back from a wonderful stay at Locanda Angelica. The stunning surroundings, peaceful garden, lovely cottage and last but not least the hospitality of the entire family made our holiday a very special one! Already when booking directly with the accommodation the daughter Ariana has been very helpful and accommodating. We had initially booked for one week and decided after a few days to extend our stay here, as it was simply everything we wished for. We were traveling with our dog, and he was welcomed warmly by the whole family who have dogs themselves. A splendid place to bring your furry friend! Our stay was in November and we were blessed with lovely weather on most days, but even rainy days were enjoyable inside our cosy cottage. The cottages are well equipped with modern furnishing. Also the food at the restaurant on site is great (many options for a gluten free diet if applicable for you)! The area around Giarratana has as lot to offer, especially if you enjoy the outdoors: forests, rivers, canyons and lovely villages are reachable in less than an hour by car. November is a quiet time in Sicily, and we very much enjoyed the peace and quiet at this time of year. We discovered a little paradise, and will definitely be back!!

Locanda Angelica was the most welcome place to us in the countryside after weeks of travelling Sicily and crowds of tourists. Beautiful setting,green areas and luxurious pool to relax Our apartment was spacious,very clean,very well equipped kitchen and loved the stonework throughout the property. The highlight was the restaurant, so close by and again amazing stonework. Beautiful family and great home cooking. We did many day trips to Ragussa, Ortiga and a special place called Maszaremi on the coast. Drove from here one hour to catch the boat to Malta. Ten minutes from here in Guirantana there is a cute little patisserie for great coffee and crossinants. Called Le Petit cafe. You need a car to stay in this area.
