Unique place. After our first visit in summer 2019, we knew we will be back at this fabulous place. At times when Hotel chains are dominating the bussines, most hotel stays are not memorable. This place definitely leaves an imoression. Six years later, i still remember our room in classic style and the large bathroom with green tiles. The second stay for a week in April strengthened the initial impressions. Places like this are unfortunately becomung rare.

We stayed just one night, but we will be back. Its located close to the lake varese ( approx. 20 min by feet). We found it very easily (in daylight) and could park our car in the yard. The dogs greeted us but were friendly as lambs and left us quickly alone. The rooms are full of light and very clean, decorated with a love for detail. We had aperitiv in front of the house which is nicely surrounded by an ivy covered wall and palm trees. They served us dinner in the courtyard in the back of the estate. The backyard is everyones dream of an hidden romantic backyard in italy- full of ivy and flowers. The dinner was fantastic, the meat was as tender as butter. For desert they served us crepe suzette which the waiter flambeed directly in front of us. We slept like Babys in the bed. cannot recommend this family run hotel enough, they made sure we felt very much at home even just for one night.

Nice Looking old Villa. The whole Hotel looks really impressive and Interesting. The owners are friendly and really nice. The best Croissants i have ever eaten so far.
