Locanda Del Molino Vecchio

Peaceful, spacious, quality, huge garden and pool, great location. Family, friends and I have stayed here a few times now. Good sized bedrooms each with private shower etc. Huge lounge and reception area. Big kitchen. Loads of parking space for cars, vans, camper, whatever you are travelling with. The current host/manager has been looking after the place for the last 5 years and you can rest assured of a very very warm and friendly welcome. Great if you have pets as the large garden is completely fenced so those with exploring 4 legged friends can feel assured they won't escape. Lovely location for walking, cycling and 3 bike parks within 30 minutes for those wanting enduro mountain biking, you can easily fill 3/4 days. Plus 100's km of dirt tracks for gravel and trekking bikes. Did I mention wine and truffles? Donkeys present, friendly and sociable, great for the kids. The host speaks fluent Italian, German, English, French.

A beautiful Locanda run by a lovely family, The location is situated on a quiet street just 10 minutes away from the centre of Alba. Swimming pool, large living area, a great kitchen & communal dining space, what more could you want? Everything is extremely clean and taken care of with great rooms and a lovely homely atmosphere. Great for a family getaway or a group of friends. 10/10 would recommend.

The house and its history was nice, but the furniture is a little bit dated. The house is big, which is great. The kitchen is really dated and a bit gross. Swimming pool is great, note that there are family members who are also using the pool. The owner isn't a great communicator and sometimes feels a bit bossy. The area/region is very nice. Note: there are a lot of mosquitos in the area (got stuck 6 times per evening or so) And you hear dogs barking almost every night. All together, we had a great holiday, but there is some room for improvement.
