Beautiful boutique hotel in Grottaferrata, The hotel and service exceeded my expectations. We had a wonderful experience, everything was excellent to the small details. The deco was old style but with the touch of modern. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Beautiful rooms and very clean. We are looking forward to returning to Grottaferrata and staying at the Locanda dello Spuntino.

We stayed at Locanda dello Spuntino for a nearby wedding (2.5 km away) and really enjoyed the cozy, authentic feel of the hotel. Our room was beautiful – clean, comfortable, and full of character. Parking is only available on nearby public streets, which can get full, especially in the evening. That was a bit inconvenient. Also, the front desk wasn’t able to pre-book a taxi for us, which became a problem when Uber and taxi apps kept cancelling. But here’s where the place really shines: when the owners and two incredibly kind waiters noticed our situation, they stepped in without hesitation and managed to get us a taxi themselves. Their genuine effort and helpfulness made all the difference and saved the evening for us. A lovely little hotel with warm hospitality – would absolutely recommend, especially if you’re looking for something personal and characterful.

Over a year after visiting I still dream of my time here. The room was clean, warm, and inviting. The service was phenomenal, everyone was so kind and helpful. The location is further away from Rome but close enough you can still spend most of your time there, while going back to a quite and peaceful neighborhood with a delicious dinner waiting at the restaurant next door for the night. This place is truly a hidden gem that will give you beautiful memories for a lifetime.
