Locanda Hotel

I spent over 100 nights in hotels this past year. Few have treated me so well. A young lady that worked the front desk last night went out of her way to have a drug store deliver some sinus medicine that I much needed. The hotel is clean, the room comfortable and the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Also, the food is very good, especially that bowl of chicken soup I had last night for dinner. If you have a trip planned for Novo Hamburgo I strongly recommend this hotel.

I participated in a development and leadership training that was held at the Locanda Hotel. The room was very comfortable and the food was delicious. Thanks to the hotel staff for the dedication and support at this special time!

Whilst this place seems a little out of the way and the outside looks dated - don’t be put off - I couldn’t have been happier there. I spent 6 nights and ate in the restaurant for lunch and dinner 5-6 times. It was quiet but the food was incredible. The staff are great and made you feel really welcome. The front desk team were very friendly (as was everyone really) and made a point of having a little chat every time you passed by. Restaurant could do with a face lift - it’s a little dark, but it’s clean and functional. One night there was quite lengthy power cut so all guests congregated in the lobby, bar and outside relaxing area which ended up being quite a nice atmosphere (albeit a bit dark! 🤣)
