Lochend Chalets

Fantastic stay at Lochend Chalets. Starting with a warm welcome and then settled in to the tranquility of this beautiful location. Views are stunning across the Lake of Menteith. Cabins are immaculate and the size suited our party of 3. Such a relaxing break. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic Stay at Lochend Chalets! We had a wonderful stay at Lochend Chalets and can't recommend it enough! The chalets were tidy, clean, and incredibly comfortable, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It's an affordable yet high-quality getaway, perfect for unwinding and enjoying nature. One of the standout features was how environmentally friendly the site is, which we really appreciated. It’s also a family-run business, and the warm hospitality made us feel right at home. We loved waking up to ducks visiting us every morning—such a charming touch! The abundance of wildlife around the area added to the experience. During our stay, we dined at Nick’s Restaurant, and the food was absolutely fantastic—highly recommended! The location is also great, with easy access to Stirling, Glasgow, and Edinburgh, making it a perfect base for exploring. We will definitely return and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We stayed in the walk-in shower unit. We informed the managers in the office that we are all disabled and they said they would do the rubbish for us daily, they didn't do it once. It's very small and could do with an extra sofa or armchair so not sat on top of each other when 3 or 4 people are inside. However the views are fabulous, the wild life is amazing. We had resident ducks, a pole martin visited, We saw Kingfishers, tree climbers, wood peckers, any number of small tits and wrens. We saw red kites too. Oh and on the last night a cat came and spent the night with us! Lol. Our stay was very peaceful and we would stay again but be better prepared for the size or size up. A fan would be nice to have when the weather is roasting and so would cushions for the outdoor chairs..
