We have just returned from a fantastic week away at 5 Lock View Nordic Spa. Where do I start ..... Very warm welcome from the owner, who advised us on various items in the cottage. The dog friendly premises was fitted out to a very high standard with all mod cons. The two on suite bedrooms were spacious & very well presented. The lounge overlooking the canal had a Juliet balcony which when the doors were open the bird song was incredible. The kitchen dinner had all utensils, dishes & electrical appliance you could wish for, plus a laundry cupboard with washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside there was a seating area adjacent to the hot tub, sauna & chill plunge tub. All in all one of the best cottages we have stayed in & would definitely like to return to finish exploring the beautiful Dale's.
Stunning self catering cottage overlooking the Lock. Every room has been designed and decorated to high specification. It is also dog friendly, which is a huge plus for us as we don't go anywhere without our pooch. The Jacuzzi is heaven. Available anytime of the day between 8am and 9pm so to not disturb any neighbours out of hours. The King size + bed is so comfortable and the viewsnare amazing. Late evening we had a display of Crows in the trees. There are a few steps to get to the lounge and more steps to the bedroom for those with mobility issues but honestly we couldn't recommend this place high enough. Nearest town is Skipton and only two hours drive from Newcastle.
I'm abit late to write this review Wow what can I say ..we stayed for 3 nights at the beginning Of June... with my partner and our labrador its 🐕 dog friendly and so beautiful and relaxing ..... hot tub was extra special as we normally don't book any where with hot tubs but it was nice clean and exactly what we were looking for x the copper bath was to the best in the bedroom... lovely and comfortable apartment and so peaceful Thank you for most lovely welcome 🙏 in person and lovely bottle of wine and chocolates... we will be back x it's a beautiful place over looking the canal x
