Excellent place to stay. Every team member was pleasant and helpful. There is a great aroma in the reception area. The room was spacious with contemporary furnishings. The entire facility was spotless, the elevators arrived and moved swiftly, but the gym was the best part. The gym is equipped with great new equipment that is spaciously arranged with everything you could want in a gym.
From the moment we arrived at Loews Atlanta, the service was exceptional. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade for one of our rooms. The restaurant food was absolutely amazing. Room service was prompt, and the food was just as delicious as what we had in the restaurant. A special shout-out to Ivan for going above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of excellent. His attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made a difference. We’ll definitely be back!
Update: The Loews denied any responsibility for the damage found on my car after valeting because I discovered it the day after I left the hotel. If you valet your car at The Loews, make sure to take pictures and video of your car before you valet, and before you take your keys back. I 100000% did not run into anything with my car, and they are the only ones who could've. Now I have to either go through my insurance or out of pocket to replace my front bumper and the part below it. We stayed at the Loews Atlanta for our wedding weekend and had our room block there. Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience and do not recommend staying there, especially for your wedding and your guests. About a month or two out from our wedding, we were told the lobby would be under construction where we planned on hosting our welcome party. We were also told the temporary bar area would be where the Saltwood restaurant is, and that was not the case when we arrive. It was actually on level C in a meeting room. Thankfully, we decided to move our welcome party to another location because the hotel would not have been able to accommodate us like they said they would. The only food being served for lunch was salad, but that was okay. However, no one answered the phone for the late night snack menu. I’m not sure if they were closed at 10pm, but no one answered the phone. They had to correct both my mom and my now husband’s rooms because they gave them the wrong rooms. Our friend’s car was broken into and his laptop was stolen and the only solution the hotel staff gave was to “park on a higher level”. My car has significant damage on the front driver side bumper after being valeted all weekend and no one mentioned it. On the day of my wedding, when I requested plates to be delivered to the bridal suite, I was told the first 4 plates would be free and that I would have to pay $3/plate for every plate after that. After reserving 30 rooms in our block, they expected us to pay $3/plate to rent plates “because someone would have to carry them to our room”. Not to mention, plates were not even delivered with our fruit tray and we had to use the coffee saucers. Additionally, one night at 4am, a strange man without a shirt on continuously knocked on our door and tried to use his key to get in. I called the front desk and the lady who answered huffed as though she was so annoyed by my request for her to send someone to check out what this man was doing at our door. It was scary, being me and my maid of honor were alone and felt very unsafe. She ultimately didn’t send anyone to check because he moved along to the next door. Unfortunately, our experience was less than acceptable starting from our first interaction with an extremely rude front desk staff member who seemed very annoyed that we had gift bags to deliver to guests upon arrival (we were paying for this service). Which, my family had to remind the front desk staff on numerous occasions to hand out because they continually forgot to. All this to say, maybe as a normal guest, this hotel is fine, but especially if anyone is having a wedding and needs a room block, I would never recommend The Loews Atlanta.
