Wonderful experience! We stayed 2 nights and had a great time. Loews all the benefits of a large resort in a central downtown Miami Beach location. This is a great location. Right on a beautiful stretch of beach. Easy walk to the bars and restaurants on South Beach via either Collins or the Beachwalk. The hotel is completely spotless— inside and out. Our room was spacious and has a beautiful view of the beach and pool from the balcony. The bed is extremely comfortable. The service is all top notch— excellent bell service, friendly check-in, and super attentive servers at the beach and pool. We booked with breakfast included and found everything at the breakfast buffet to be fresh and delicious tasting. The pool deck is a little cramped but the beach is extremely roomy. Can’t wait to be back!
The place is being renovated. We didn't find out until we checked in. The service inside was very friendly and fast. The pool was spotty with service but very nice. Close location to the Art deco district. Felt very safe on the property. The ocean had lots of seaweed up and down the shores. 20% service charge (gratuity) was added to all your bills. The bike trail between the hotel and ocean was nice to walk on in the early morning.
The location and view were amazing. Breakfast was delicious but definitely on the expensive side. I really appreciated how dog friendly the place is and they even gave us a sweet little pack for my dog. The pool area was incredible and the beach and pool amenities were top tier. I also liked the optional photo session with Focal Point. Alysa the photographer was great but the $1200 price tag for all the pictures was a bit insane to me. The staff overall were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The only exception was one of the guys who handles the bags. He was friendly with me but noticeably rude to my sister which left a bad impression. A few other things I did not love were the beds which were not very comfortable, a weird smell in the room and entrance that came and went, and the ongoing construction. We were not informed about the construction ahead of time and only found out once we got to reception. Still the location was great and overall it was a good experience.
