Loews New Orleans Hotel

Great modern upscale hotel within walking distance of attractions. The service we received was excellent. From check-in with blare the bellhop to checkout everyone we encountered was kind, curteous and helpful. We reserved a room block without visiting the property for my upcoming wedding in October. We recently stayed when visiting for our tasting and were not disappointed. The hotel is beautiful and located off canal by a few blocks which keeps you away from wandering tourists and the hustle and bustle. It is still close enough to walk to the French quarter and most museums. The rooms are huge the beds and pillows are very comfortable. The bathrooms are also spacious boasting a separate shower and bathtub. I am extremely pleased with our choice and can’t wait for our guests to have a pleasant stay

The hotel was clean and breakfast was delicious. Our only complaint is that our room was WARM and the beds were hard as rocks. Bonus points for allowing to check-in early on very short notice, Mr. Blair in Valet and the wonderful wait staff in the restaurant. I loved the location. Close enough to walk to Bournon street but far enough away to get a break from the party vibe.

We stayed for 3 nights from Friday-Monday. The room was a king bed with city view on the 21st floor. It had walk in shower with a separate tub. The provided soaps/body wash was blah but doable. I’d bring my own next time. The view was nice. The window allowed lots of natural light and a great view. The bed was comfortable. My only gripe for the room was there was no microwave. One night I was able to hear the people in the suite next to my room but quiet otherwise. The room was serviced every day. The towels were nice. There is no free breakfast but there is room service and a restaurant. There’s a gym and a pool with a jacuzzi I forgot to take pics of. There was lemon/lime water in the lobby one day. The lobby is comfy. There’s no parking except valet but many lots around the hotel. Overall, I could see coming again. Staff was pleasant. There is no more free bottled water with the friends promo. They still provided us water. It’s located close to a lot. I walked to Dragos and shopping. Ubers were everywhere within minutes.
