I stayed at the Loft Hotel from 9/2/24 - 11/2/24. The hotel was in a great location. At check-in we were provided an incorrect address from the front desk staff and drove around for 45 minutes looking for a parking address that didn't exist. Totally a human error. The bathroom has moldy shower caulking. The windows are falling apart. The furniture is dated. It is a dog friendly hotel but they charged me extra for a towel I used to dry off my dog and held my entire deposit. There isn't a broom in the room or anything additional to tidy up during your stay. I'm a responsible person who is well traveled and has worked in the hospitality industry and am in utter shock that the hotel is holding my deposit. I'd think again before I gave them my credit card.

This is my very first time writing a review about any place, and it's because I'm so frustrated with my experience at this hotel. I am further corroborating reviews that have been written about this hotel and would not recommend staying here. I stayed here the last weekend of May '23 to celebrate my birthday and the stay has left a bad memory of the trip. While the rooms are spacious and generally clean, the staff and management are non-responsive and pretty much useless, and the rooms need updating. More specifically, there are two significant issues I've been chasing with the hotel, and despite multiple calls and emails, no one has gotten back to me after several weeks. First, they put someone in my party in a room they knew did not have a functioning air conditioning. When my friends surfaced the issue, they were moved into a much smaller room, but did not complain. We have been trying to get a refund for the difference in the room sizes, but no one has responded. Second, I left some expensive items behind in my room and requested that the hotel ship them back to me at my own expense. When I talked to the front desk, their response was they didn't know if they could do that (which is insane on its own), and that I needed to talk to the manager. I have emailed and called, and again no response. I'm on the verge of reporting the hotel to the Dept. of Consumer Affairs and potentially the authorities for theft, if they do not return my belongings. Separately, there are no cleaning services on the weekends, and sometimes you have to request that your room actually be cleaned during the week. The front desk often has no one available when you're there to provide recommendations, address room issues, or even get fresh towels. This place had so much promise when we reviewed it on the website, but I would not recommend it. What a disappointment

They allow events and party bookings for some of their rooms, but it is a horrible service. They charge 3 times the normal rate, yet you still get noise complaints from other residents and they expect you to comply to them. Incredibly misleading service and contract.
