My stay here was absolutely amazing. This beautifully restored railway lodge from the early 1900s is full of charm and character. The hotel caters perfectly to travelers looking to experience everything the area has to offer. The rooms came equipped with YETI coolers that we were able to take on our day trips, which was a thoughtful and super convenient touch. They also offered bike rentals for the week we could use whenever we wanted—such great perks that really added to the experience. The on-site restaurant was delicious with fair prices, and there's a separate bar on the property that's a great place to relax and grab a drink. I also loved the many outdoor seating areas and fire pits—perfect for unwinding in the evenings. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, and the hotel management is truly top-tier. The location is ideal—just a short drive to Glacier National Park and other local attractions—yet the property still feels peaceful and private. Highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone visiting the area!
We recently stayed at LOGE for three nights at the tail end of our week in Montana. We stayed in one of the schoolhouse rooms just across the train tracks and up on the hill. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous. So lush and you feel like you are immersed in nature. LOGE did an amazing job at modernizing the property while staying true to the historic charm of the original inn. The restaurant was delicious, same with the cafe :) There is a train track right next to the property but if you know anything about the historic inn, you’d be prepared for that and hopefully appreciate it! We would definitely come back to stay at this place and will think of it often. :)
Really wanted to like this and on first appearances I thought it was going to be great. The room was clean and modern despite and although small wasn't cramped. The bar and restaurant were nice and it was lovely sitting out on the grass in the evening. But for all the gimmicks, outdoorsy freebies etc they dont get the main thing right - providing a good night's sleep! The room was so hot! There's no aircon. Even though it was cool outside it took until about 3am for the room to cool down with the window open and fan on. But if the window is open you hear the trains and the restaurant noise... And if you close the blind you don't get the breeze but the lights are bright etc etc. The pillows are awful. The floor creaks loudly with every step, and not just yours but the people above you and next to you and in the hallway. I know it's an old hotel. If you're a serious hiker and like to hit the sack early, sleep well and get up at dawn to hit the park, this place isn't for you. The staff were great, especially the morning staff and the bartender.
