Logis Hôtel Les Autanes & Spa

I recently stayed at Les Autanes with my family, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The hotel had a lot to offer, including a restaurant and spa that were both top-notch. We were particularly impressed with the staff, who went above and beyond to accommodate us - even providing room service, which they don't typically offer, because we were traveling with a baby. The swimming pool was also a highlight of our stay - it was clean, well-maintained, and the perfect temperature for a refreshing dip. We also had the chance to check out the sweet market on Sunday, which was a fun and unique addition to our trip. The only downside was that the living room was quite cold during our stay. While this wasn't a dealbreaker by any means, the person that had to sleep on the couch did not appreciate.

Amazing stay. The hotel was cosy and comfortable. The room was self-catering and felt more than a three star room, at least four star in my opinion. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom was lovely, there was a balcony and the beds were comfortable. Everything felt well done with attention to detail in the room. Ancelle is such a beautiful peaceful village and we slept well. The staff were very tolerant and helpful even with our terrible French speaking, there was a nice guy who spoke a bit of English at reception although everyone was nice and always said ‘hi’ to us. The restaurant was lovely, especially the fondue. The waiters were so efficient and nice, particularly one male waiter (sorry we didn’t get his name). We enjoyed a swim in the pool and booked the spa one day which you get to yourself. I was very glad we stayed there instead of a big resort like Orcieres. The skiing in Ancelle was also good and only a five min walk, lovely walks too. I plan to brush up on my French and hopefully return next year.

Pool, rooms and balcony not in best shape. Dinner tasty but to expensive. Some ham and close to not visible amount of vegetables for 17,5 Euro is hard. Breakfast without service but convenient food. Not my choise.
