Lokalist Istanbul a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Good service, had to get some things sorted out like water was not there in the fridge, wash basin was not draining properly but they fixed things very quickly. I'm satisfied. Located at the prime tourist spot very near to Taksim. Room seems to me a bit congested but we are three people. It would be fine for two. Wash basin is out of washroom which might be great for couples but I don't like it. Room is sound proof and really beautiful. Haven't tried breakfast yet. The guy at reception saw me wandering outside the gate at around 2am, and came out for giving me company and making me feel safe and we had a very nice conversation.

I’m giving this place 3 stars because of the friendly staff. Otherwise I would be 2 stars max. The staff were very friendly and helpful when I asked for anything. The hotel itself is in a good location. You can walk to lots of places to eat and Starbucks is pretty much across the street. The hotel appears to be new but didn’t feel new. The shower had a constant smell of mold. The rooms all smell like smoke. It was always loud at night and early morning like their was construction going on. Would not be my first choice. I stayed here cause work booked the hotel for me.

One of the worst hotels I have ever been .The rooms are very small although I told them 3 beds in the room and I booked when I arrived I was shocked that there is no place to walk to reach your bed, and when I asked for a blanket for the child they told me that it is not available in the hotel,, also sink out of the bathroom!! You hear the sound of the water and the level of hygiene is very, very bad, the floor is not clean, the bed covers have yellow stains.
