Lombardy Boutique Hotel and Conference Centre

Looks nice on arrival but attention to detail is lacking. The bar fridge and kettle were missing from the room on arrival and the sliding door can’t open due to lack of maintenance. The staff did put a fridge and kettle in the room after us reporting it. Cushions on patio furniture may have been recently cleaned but the covers weren’t zipped closed so look very messy. Breakfast was good, staff are friendly.

Very beautiful and quiet. The downside is that the wifi is not available in the rooms (although it is stated that there is wifi), check in was a mission, but that was a fault from hotels.com and the personnel at the hotel helped us sort it out, but we had to pay AGAIN to get our room (not their fault again, but still an inconvenience), our room was not fully prepared (lack of towels and coffee), the restaurant only gave us 3 options for dinner (no menu provided) and the chicken was raw and frozen on arrival. Further the breakfast was nice and enjoyable.

I was really disappointed. The place seems like it could be very beautiful or was very beautiful once but it is very dilapidated and run down. The facilities are out of date and the garden is overgrown. The air conditioning didn't work at first so we had to be moved to a different room. There was no WiFi and the restaurant is out of service. The towels were for and old. The bath tub had a large crack. The staff are very friendly and helpful and are trying their best but the place needs serious upgrades and some care. The back part, near our room had severe water damage and should be condemned because of the black mold and damage to the ceiling.
