I had a flight the next day, so we booked this hotel for our family. It has a great location near the airport, and if we needed to visit other places, we could easily take a bus to Hatton Cross station for the Piccadilly line. The access is very convenient. The service was excellent, and the food was amazing. The staff was courteous and attentive.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Marriott Hotel. When I arrived, my room was not ready. Normally, I’m a patient person and can wait, but I had not slept the entire night, which was exactly why I booked a day-use room in the first place. The staff initially told me it could take about an hour. I explained that I was too exhausted to wait. The first lady at the counter was kind and assured me I would get my lost time compensated. However, she never actually apologized for the inconvenience. Because I was so tired, I couldn’t think clearly, and I had already planned to leave the hotel much earlier than intended. When I returned to check if my room was ready, I was met by the manager. His attitude was shockingly rude. After I waited again, he suddenly told me he could prepare a room, but only after I mentioned filing a complaint. He then offered me breakfast, but I had already eaten during my wait. When I asked how he would compensate me for the lost time, his response felt accusatory, as if implying I hadn’t kept the room clean (which was irrelevant and untrue). After going back and forth, he offered me a drink voucher, which I accepted but never used, as I was only there to sleep. The most upsetting part was how dismissive and unkind he was, especially when I was visibly exhausted and in genuine need of rest. When I finally got to the room, it appeared clean at first, but the beds smelled as if the sheets had not been changed. I had to rush to the airport afterward, so I didn’t raise this at checkout. I wasn’t originally planning to write a review, but the experience was so poor that I felt I had to share it. I wish no harm to the manager, but no guest should ever be treated this way, especially at a hotel that promises comfort and hospitality. I have truly never experienced anything like this before.

Title: Shameful Treatment – and Completely Unacceptable I’m writing this as my wife is currently staying at the London Heathrow Marriott Hotel — and the treatment she’s receiving is disgraceful. They assigned her a handicap-accessible room without her consent or prior notice. She does not require such a room, and the setup is entirely unsuitable. The sink is unusable at a normal height, the shower is uncomfortable, and it’s clearly not meant for someone without accessibility needs. What’s worse is the complete lack of care from the front desk. She asked to be moved to a regular room and was met with indifference. No apology, no solution, nothing just cold and unhelpful staff who clearly don’t care about guest comfort or basic service standards. This is not just a bad experience it’s insulting. My wife is uncomfortable, upset, and still stuck in that room as I write this. For a hotel carrying the Marriott brand, this level of service is embarrassing. If you’re looking for a place that respects its guests and takes responsibility, look elsewhere.
