A few weeks ago, I stayed at the Marriott Grosvenor Square and was very impressed with the quality of the room. Everything was clean, and extremely comfortable. I would like to give special recognition to Security Officer Muhammad Junaid, who was incredibly helpful and professional throughout my stay. His friendly and respectful manner truly made me feel safe and welcome. However, I did encounter a couple of challenges. It was quite difficult to locate a smoking area at night, which was inconvenient. Additionally, there was no designated area for prayer, which would be greatly appreciated by guests who require it. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with excellent service, particularly from the staff. With a few improvements, the experience could be even better.
Overall, this is a lovely hotel in a convenient location but an extremely busy location. The staff was outstanding and welcoming. Our room was on the first floor and we had a patio with a table and chairs off our room, which was very nice, which we did use. We did not use the instant coffee but went down to the M Club for coffee each morning. The breakfast buffet was average. The evening buffet was a bit better. Our room was well appointed, a nice size and bed was comfortable. It was nice our bottles water was replenished as we used them. Housekeeping came in twice a day to clean and then for turndown. The bell men were very helpful in calling taxis for us. I had some interaction with the hotel manager and he was very helpful and accommodating.
Overall not a bad hotel, but given the price and location, there are definitely better options at the price point. The rooms have been kept very clean, but the bathrooms are starting to get a bit dated. Staff were very friendly. We had breakfast in the club each morning, which wasn’t awful, but left a few things to be desired. There was a limited selection of items, which did not change during our stay. We did find out from another guest that you could ask for hard boiled eggs, otherwise the buffet just has scrambled eggs which did contain milk.
