Lone Star Court by Valencia Hotel Collection

1st time stay at Lone Star. Certainly will repeat for a number of reasons. Was greeted at check in by Leon who i interacted with 3-4 times during my 2 day stay. Helpful, friendly, informative!! The grounds are fantastic...a live oak oasis in this retail center with outside and inside bars, rocking chairs by rooms, fire pits (for when it's cool). Room was spacious and equipped with snacks and full fridge mini bar...more than any other hotel I've stayed at anywhere in the world. We'll equipped shower. Highly recommend!

Just had my first stay at Lone Star Court in Austin, TX, and seriously, this place is AMAZING! From the moment I pulled in, the vibe was just perfect. The landscaping is absolutely beautiful – it feels like a little oasis. And the rooms? Super fun and funky, with so much personality. It's not your typical boring hotel room, which I loved. We hit up the on-site restaurant, and wow, the food and drinks were so good. Definitely a highlight! But what truly made the stay unforgettable was the staff. Leon, Vic, and Dimitri were absolutely incredible the entire time – so warm, welcoming, and genuinely fun. They made us feel right at home. And a massive shoutout to Bobby! I accidentally left a bag of very sentimental jewelry behind, and he was an absolute superstar. He went above and beyond, helping me track it down with housekeeping and even shared his personal cell number to ensure I got it back. That kind of care is just next level. Seriously, if you're looking for a place in Austin that's got charm, great food, and a team that makes you feel like family, Lone Star Court is it. Can't wait to go back!

Great location. The check in process was great! Super friendly staff, however what it doesn’t say on their website is that you have to pay for public parking at an overnight rates.. I called when I saw the signs and the representative put me on hold, contacted the site and came back and said there wouldn’t be a charge, however that was incorrect. The property is beautiful and well taken care of. However I rated the room low not because of the cleanness, because it was super clean and super cute, but it’s definitely time for new mattresses. We could feel the springs, it was terrible. Hard to believe the hotel by Valencia would have worn mattress's . I have no back issues, no body aches and pain, but after just one night on the mattress I was miserable. We still have one more night to go and I’m dreading it. My daughter who only weights 98 lbs said even her body hurts. Not sure if the temperatures are managed but throughout the evening no matter what we did to the thermostat it would get unbearably hot. Highly a grand disappointment a long awaited getaway gone bad. Oh and lastly the should keep the pool open at least until 10. The pool had several people in it , all adults , being quiet and just relaxing and at 8:50 pm someone came around and said “ you have to leave , pool closed” . A. Let’s be more courteous., and B. During time change, people are out later, and it’s the weekend , in Austin I have to say. The location is great. Everything you need is within walking distance or a short drive. Oh and when you check in, they offer you a cold drink if your choice . Super cute check in. Just do some updates on the mattresses.
