We went there for the public onsen. It was a delightful moment. The staff was really nice and explained everything. The showers were clean. I loved trying every different baths. It was not crowded as it was a weekday, there were only a family with kids and us. It become raining as we left, and the staff of the hotel called a taxi for us. Recommended.
Booked online tickets to try the hot spring for the first time, and it was such a great experience! There were both public and private options available—I chose the private hot spring and really enjoyed the relaxing one-hour soak. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and perfect for unwinding. A special shoutout to the amazing service staff. I called in the morning to reserve dinner at 7:30 PM, but we arrived earlier than expected around 5 PM. The staff kindly helped us move our dinner to 7 PM, and later again to an even earlier slot after our soak, without any complaints. They were extremely patient, accommodating, and friendly throughout. The dinner itself was delicious and satisfying—I left feeling very full and content! Another nice perk was the free shuttle bus to the nearest MRT station. Though it runs on a fixed schedule, it’s a convenient and thoughtful service for tourists like us. I highly recommend visiting Spring City Resort to experience their hot spring and warm hospitality. I’ll definitely be recommending it to friends and family!
Did not have a good experience. This place is marketed as family/kid friendly, however it is not. Travelled with my 6 month here. Called ahead about swim diapers, they said they had some for purchase at the hotel. Great! We made an almost hour drive there, and was told they do not have any, and none of their staff told me that. Okay, way to gaslight me than rather then taking any initiative. We checked the vending machines, and they had “swim diapers” available for purchase for 100NTD. We purchased, and when we opened it, it was menstrual pads inside. We brought it to their attention and were told we should have brought our own. That was the plan, until we were told we could purchase it there. And even if they didn’t say that, the vending machine proves otherwise and are labeled/filled incorrectly. Someone dropped our provided towel on the floor, so my husband tired to return it and ask for a dry one. They responded that it costed money. For what? We don’t even get to keep the towels after! Luckily, I had pack some of our own personal ones for use. On top of that, the change rooms are NOT child friendly!! Small showers, no change room, not ONE changing table! Even ONE family stall would be nice! I had no where to put baby unless I was holding her which it difficult. Imagine how hard it is to put a diaper on a slippery wet baby while you’re holding her and still wet and getting rdy yourself 😭 Anyways, I would not recommend. Facilities weren’t great, overcrowded, and not well maintained. *These conversation happened in Mandarin so there is no excuse for language barrier
