Loved staying at the Long Set Resort, direct beachfront, room was great , food and cocktails were the best. The staff were exceptional especially Mr Sim Front Office Manager, always obliging and very friendly. Highly recommended.

This place is nice. Well kept grounds. Room with walk out pools attached in addition to the main pool. Clean beach. Good food. A little pricey but very convenient for me because it’s just so easy to sit down and charge it to the room. Close to the pier and small shops but far enough away to feel like we were secluded enough. My wife found a place selling fresh crab. The service is good although you need to initiate the conversation when you walk in and sit down in the restaurant. They are very helpful with your baggage unloading from the boat. They helped us with logistics to get to the island. They probably can help in many other ways for the enjoyment of the island. Came in rainy season so we just stayed close to the resort with our kids. We came with a big family and the teens had a great time exploring the island. Rooms are pretty decent. I feel the price is fair. I like to get to my resort and just chill so this was a great choice for me. Firm bed soft pillows. Hot water. Quiet even though they said they were full. Decent internet. I would come back without a doubt.

One of the Best Hotels on the Beach – But with Some Flaws Liked: In my opinion, this is the best hotel on this beach. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, and the service is excellent. The hotel has everything you need for a great vacation. The breakfast was decent, and the restaurant was lovely, especially with the evening barbecues. Guests can borrow snorkeling gear (masks, snorkels, and fins) for free, and there are also SUP boards and kayaks available—a nice touch for beach lovers. Disliked: Some rooms are in need of renovation. Ours felt very worn out—the air conditioner was noisy and ineffective, the fridge didn’t cool properly, and there was no TV (even though it wasn’t a basic category room). The gym was quite underwhelming, mainly due to the lack of free weights and poor air conditioning. There was also an unpleasant incident where we had to compensate the hotel for a lost beach bag belonging to our friends, who had already checked out a day earlier. We found this unfair, as we weren’t responsible for it. Overall: A great choice for its location, amenities, and service, but some aspects (like room condition and gym facilities) could be improved.
