Lopesan Villa del Conde Resort & Thalasso

We had an amazing stay! The rooms under Unique Service are very nice and comfortable. 👍🏻 We loved the breakfast, the view, and the great service from the cleaning team. One thing to mention — the service at the pool could use some attention. Many sunbeds were covered with towels but there were no people around, making it hard to find a free spot. Also, we were surprised that coffee and water had to be purchased through the app — we only discovered this later in our stay 😉. It’s different from other hotels we’ve stayed in, but overall, it was still a very positive experience.

Lovely environment and a great reception. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Swimming pools adequate but over crowded especially the seating areas. All in all a nice experience but seriously affected by the food quality in the buffet restaurants and most annoyingly the staff do not take the time to understand the orders which is a pitty especially at the end of the day while sitting to enjoy the spectacles or the bands while were nice enough to enjoy had it not been for the time required to order and get what you asked for... missing half the show and getting upset enough to go out and visit one of the many places by the lighthouse.

Overall, we were really satisfied with our stay at the hotel and would definitely recommend it to others. Big kudos to the fitness instructor around lunchtime – always energetic and full of positive vibes! Definitely not the same experience we had at the Baobab Hotel. The rooms were spotless throughout our stay – the housekeeping team clearly puts in great effort and deserves recognition. One thing we noticed was a big difference between the two breakfast areas. The one to the left, had a much fresher and wider selection of food. The right-side area (when facing the reception) felt completely different for some reason – the atmosphere was darker due to the lighting, it almost felt like an evening setting, and unfortunately, the food didn’t seem as fresh, which should be a must while staying in a 5* hotel. It’s worth noting that there are always guests seemed to wait for a table in the main area rather than choosing the other section (and yes that means that the main area has more work than the other so they need to divide it somehow)– and that speaks for itself. This isn’t meant as criticism, but rather a suggestion to improve the experience and make it more consistent across the hotel. That said, Lopesan Hotels are generally our first choice when staying in Gran Canaria – and with a few small tweaks, this place could be close to perfect.
