Long story short - beautiful surroundings, peaceful and quite place. Not much what to do with small kids. The food is great, especially in the Georgian restaurant. The horrible part is their reception and booking service. We needed to experience multiple calls to our room asking about our reservation numbers, they wanted to check us out one night earlier because they didn’t notice that we paid another extra night.. it felt like talking to a wall, I’m sorry. My husband spent hour and half of our last day at the reception to explain that we booked one extra night which ruined our plans for the last day with the kids.. for the price range they want to play in they should really work on that service. And we also witnessed another guests having issues with the reception too. The rooms are nice, clean, spot on. Would I come again? No! It might seem minor but these things can really spoil your overall experience.
I feel disappointed after this experience. Based on the price and the reviews on the Booking app, I thought I would have an exceptional stay, but the opposite happened due to the poor air conditioning in the room. We contacted them more than six times, and each time the AC technician came and said, “Please wait a little, the AC will regain its cooling, the problem has been fixed,” but nothing was actually fixed! We couldn’t enjoy the activities because our time was wasted waiting for the technicians to repair it. When we requested to change the room, they told us all rooms were fully booked and they couldn’t help us.
We recently stayed at this resort and were quite disappointed with the overall experience. The ATV tour offered through the hotel was poorly managed. The instructor didn’t give a proper safety briefing, didn’t check if participants understood how to operate the ATVs, and rode far ahead without monitoring the group. The situation felt unsafe and unprofessional. Medical support on-site is extremely limited and very basic. Also, ATVs in Georgia are typically not insured, so in case of damage, you’ll be expected to cover the costs yourself — and don’t expect much empathy or assistance from the staff. Service overall was underwhelming. The staff seemed very young (around 14–15 years old), and unfortunately, this showed in their lack of experience and professionalism. Food-wise, avoid the full board option. We were served the same dry chicken, rice, and potatoes every day for six days. Everything felt overcooked and reheated. Thankfully, the restaurants inside the resort are much better — tasty food, good prices, and a pleasant atmosphere. We were surprised by the lack of hospitality and guest care, something we expected to find in Georgia. Unfortunately, this was our first and likely last visit.
