Wonderful old school lodge on the mountain. Soon some of these units that get quite hot are going to need to add air conditioners, our room got very hot in the intense afternoon sun. Lovely location and setting. Pool is saline, loved it, but gets very full because it’s relatively small for the amount of rooms. Outside Bbq area is nice as well. Two hot tubs with more chlorine than I’ve ever experienced, kind of made us sick but we used the small pool. Some of the staff are very nice, some could care less but overall a great experience.
Best stay at Bear Creek Lodge! Beautiful and grounds beautifully maintained. Fernando and Jaime the shuttle drivers during our stay were amazing!
Bear Creek Lodge was great for our short visit to Telluride. The room (312-c) was comfortable and quiet, and had a coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. The lodge is a short (albeit uphill coming back) walk to Mountain Village market and the gondola. But they have a free shuttle too. Would stay there again without hesitation.
