Los Cerros del Chalten Boutique Hotel

The thing more beautiful than the town and the hiking was the wonderful staff that greeted us with kindness, warmth and excellence. They were helpful with any and all requests and made us feel incredibly welcome. The room was gorgeous with a wonderful view. The restaurant was delicious and also overlooks a stunning vista. This just might be the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Don’t hesitate to book.

We spent three nights at Los Cerros and had a great experience. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful, and our room had a fantastic view of the city and surrounding mountains. We could walk to town in five minutes; we also hiked to one of the well-known trail-heads in fifteen minutes, which was really convenient. Every night, there was a local trekking guide in the lounge to help us plan our excursions, and we found this to be extremely helpful. Breakfast was generous with lots of choices, the food was great and gave us plenty of fuel for our hikes. We also ate dinner in the restaurant one night and enjoyed it very much. Overall we found the staff and amenities at Los Cerros to exceptional and would highly recommend this hotel to other travelers visiting Chalten.

The hotel is very nice. The rooms do not have refrigerators which is a little disappointing. The staff are fantastic, they want you to have a great stay and are very helpful in planning your days. The restaurant is very nice and has a great breakfast offering including the option to order eggs cooked to your liking. The hotel offers boxed lunches for you to order the evening before hikes. They are a little expensive but are good and provide multiple items (drink, juice, sandwich, alfajor, etc). The restaurant has great views too.
