This is a very beautiful and special hotel. All of the employees were extremely accommodating and warm. The food was excellent . Not to mention, the view on the top of the hotel is breathtaking! We also booked massages and they were exceptional. We felt so relaxed and the beds were so comfy that we canceled our volcano hike and slept in! If you are traveling to Antigua and want to stay somewhere warm, luxurious, and cozy, this is the one!

It was my husband’s and I first time in Guatemala and we stayed at Los Pasos while in Antigua. We absolutely loved the hotel. The staff were so friendly and hard working, they were on top of everything. The property is beautiful and clean. The rooms are big, clean, the bathroom was spacious with lots of hot water and most importantly AC in the room. I have back surgery and hotel beds are always a hit or miss for me and the bed at this hotels was very comfortable. Every time we would leave for the day we would come back to a clean bad and fresh towels. I was in love with the hotel breakfast. Their coffee and pan dulce was delicious and I looked forward to it every morning. Breakfast was included with our stay which was a huge plus for us as it was one less thing to worry about. The typical Guatemalan breakfast was what I ordered everyday as it was delicious and big (I am a big breakfast person) and we ate at the beautiful terrace every morning. While there my husband and I booked a couples massage. The Spa is beautiful and for the price of one massage in the states we got two so I considered it a great deal. The lady’s were lovely and we both loved our massages. The hotel also had a reasonably priced laundry service which I took advantage of after getting muddy and dirty after a hike of one of the volcanoes. Antigua felt so safe and everything we wanted to do was close by and walkable. We did not try the restaurant inside the hotel as there were many spots to eat in town but it was nice to have the option. If you are debating staying here I highly recommend.

We only stayed a night at the tail end of our trip to have a comfortable last night's stay. The room was comfortable but the experience really wasn't worth the cost. I heard that the spa had to be booked a day before so I messaged them but never heard back, so I asked again at check-in and the front desk staff said that she'd bring the menu but she never did, and forgot. By that time I'd given up on the spa and booked a massage elsewhere. We didn't even get to see the spa facilities, and the front desk staff were all over the place. They asked for our passports and took pictures of them for their records and held our bags until check-in time (exactly at 3), and when we arrived at 3 they'd lost our slip and asked for our passports and info again. During the time we were waiting around, we ordered a couple cocktails which were awful considering how much they cost. They were probably the worst cocktails we had on the entire trip - no garnish except one slice of cucumber that looked like it was chopped and scraggly, a watery margarita in a simple martini glass, nothing fancy. When we asked for water, it was an expensive bottle of Evian as well. The only saving grace for the hotel was the a/c in the room and a spacious bathroom. The rooftop view was nice but I feel like everywhere else in town has the same. Definitely would not be going back.
