Beautiful 1850’s traditional hotel set on a golf course surrounded by forests in the suburbs of Oslo being about 20-25 minutes drive from the heart of town. No shops or restaurants around the area though up the road there seems to be a touristy cafe for the attraction up the road. Lovely hikes nearby with one leading to an old water mill a km or two away.
Absolutely beautiful 1850’s Manor House steeped in history with many of the vintage artefacts from the past on display in the living rooms and corridors. Traditional architecture and aesthetics. It’s actually a popular functioning golf course with the guest hotel (open to non members) attached seamlessly.
We had dinner at Losby Gods a week ago. We had not made prior table reservations but was welcomed by a very friendly and charming Paulina at the restaurant. This dinner meant a lot to us cause it was one of our beloved, late mother’s favorite places. We had a wonderful time at Losby Gods restaurant eating a very tasty dinner and dessert. Paulina made this night extra special for us!
