Its a good hotel with duty free shopping right below the hotel. Very convenient in terms of location. They have a huge underground parking also as well that is free for hotel guest. Unlike other smaller hotels which require you to park roadside if you come back late. The rooms are spacious and really nice too. If you can I would suggest paying a little more to get the ocean view rooms. The views are amazing. My only gripe is that this hotel doesnt provide decent ammenties, even the cups in the toilets are paper cups, there are no disposable tooth brush, no shaving kit, and you have to buy them at the lobby, so that kind of feels abit cheap.
I’ve stayed at several Lotte hotels, and the quality is consistently high – this one is no exception. A major plus is short distance to the airport, take the bus. It’s also a great base for exploring the island. The surrounding neighborhood is a bit boring, but distances on Jeju are short, so it’s easy to reach more interesting areas by bus or car. The room I got was nice and actually quite spaceous, the price was reasonable – classic Lotte quality, thumbs up. Breakfast had a good variety and was served with a great view overlooking the airport, where you can watch planes landing and taking off the world’s busiest air routes in the world. The hotel is located in the same building as Lotte Department Store, so if you're into luxury shopping, this is a good spot. Just note that everyday stores are mostly absent. On the bright side, there's a 7-Eleven in the basement, which is super convenient for grabbing snacks or drinks. Only downside was the huge number of Chinese tourists in and around the hotel. Not all, of course, but quite a few weren’t exactly silent, nor polite in shared areas.
I liked the room fine, but the tub looked really dated and worn. The bed was very comfortable and the view of the airport was nice to see (and not hear) the planes. I had heard good things about the breakfast buffet but the Sunday breakfast buffet at 9AM was very unappealing. Many options were almost gone, the sweet breads were bland. The omelette was not customizable. Many dishes were cold. I had chosen the hotel because it had a rooftop pool but they have this weird booking system where each person must pay about $10 usd for access to the pool for certain hours and it wasn’t open in the morning which I didn’t realize at booking.
