Lotte City will not win awards for luxury or newness, but otherwise it is a perfectly fine hotel. It has decent sized, outdated but clean rooms. Beds are comfortable, and are on the softer side. Carpets in public area have some stains, but otherwise are very clean. First floor is more appealing (no carpets). Front desk is very helpful. Breakfast has a wide selection of Uzbeki and Western items. Decent sized gym with a nicely designed sauna. Location is perfect. A pedestrian only area with dozens of restaurants is a 8 min walk, Navoi theater is across the street. Metro is a 10 min walk.
The hotel was very nice, the interior makes me feels like I was in Taj Mahal. The location was also very convenient, it was 10 mins away from the metro and calling taxi to go out was easy as well, the price for taxi was very cheap. However I met this specific staff in the breakfast hall during my stay, I asked for an Iced Coffee and he said to me "I don't have freetime" and on the second day when I asked him again his reaction was rolling my eyes at me. The other staffs were very nice but I was very disappointed with the manner of this specific male staff, he was disrespectful towards me just because I want an Iced Coffee and it makes me feel like I don't want to go back to this hotel again, I hope other guests won't receive such an awful experience just because they asked for what they could receive.
